From wounds of war, unemployment, substance use disorders, fragile family systems, inadequate housing, and lack of social support, these issues can be a serious roadblock in an individual’s path to freedom. We not only want to help the individual get healthy – we want to support their families, help them get back to work, and provide other customized services that they may need. Thus, Freedom Homestead will offer a collective array of programs and service partnerships to do just that: supportive housing for men, women and children; workforce training and job placement; residential rehabilitation; trauma-informed counselling; veteran-specific services; and more.
