In 2021, Frontline Response was contacted to assist with the safe recovery of a young woman who had been lured with her child from Atlanta to South Florida. In that process, we were exposed to the magnitude of the human trafficking crisis in the region and the lack of resources for victims.

Florida is ranked third in the United States for the prevalence of Human Trafficking. South Florida is widely considered the top location in the state and even a national hub for trafficking.

We are working toward the launch of a critical 24/7 Emergency Safe Home specifically for adult women fleeing sex trafficking. In addition, we will have focused outreach, a 24-hour rescue hotline, safe recovery teams, and the home which will offer stabilization services as survivors begin their pathway to freedom.
